In an online dental consultation you discuss your questions about teeth, gums and dental treatments directly with a Swiss federally certified dentist – via video call, chat or email. When is an online consultation useful?
Typical reasons are toothache, when you want to know how urgent a practice visit is, a second opinion on a planned implant, crown or root canal treatment, a review of a cost estimate, questions about children's braces, whitening, teeth grinding or jaw joint pain, and an explanation of a diagnosis or X-ray. People who are afraid of the dentist also appreciate being able to discuss everything calmly first.
The process in three steps
First, you ask your question via video, chat or message and receive a free short answer (maximum 2 minutes). Second, if needed, you book a detailed online appointment. Third, if an examination or treatment on site is required, we refer you to a partner dentist in your region.
Preparation tips and limits
Have sharp photos of the affected teeth, existing X-rays, cost estimates and a list of your medications ready. An online consultation does not replace a clinical examination: in case of severe swelling, fever, breathing difficulties or a serious dental accident, please contact the dental emergency service immediately.
