Cookies and Analysis Tools
Cookies Used
We use cookies on our website. Cookies are small text files placed and stored on your device (laptop, tablet, smartphone, etc.) by your browser. They are used to make our website more user-friendly and efficient and to make your visit to our website as pleasant as possible. Cookies do not cause any damage to your device.
Most of the cookies we use are session cookies. These are automatically deleted when you log out or close the browser. Other cookies remain on your computer beyond the current session and allow us or our partner companies (third-party cookies) to recognize your browser on your next visit. If other cookies (e.g., cookies for analyzing your browsing behavior) are stored, they are treated separately in this privacy policy.
The basis for processing your personal data using cookies depends on whether we request your consent. If we do ask for consent and you consent to the use of cookies, the basis for processing your data is your consent. Otherwise, the personal data processed by cookies is based on our legitimate interests (e.g., in analyzing and optimizing our services and offerings) or, if the use of cookies is necessary, to fulfill our contractual obligations.
Withdrawing Consent
Regardless of whether processing is based on consent or legal permission, you have the right to withdraw your consent or object to the processing of your data through cookie technologies at any time. You can configure your browser to notify you when cookies are set and to allow or block cookies only in specific cases or generally exclude cookies. You can also activate automatic deletion of cookies when you close the browser. Additionally, you can delete cookies already set at any time through an internet browser or other software programs.
Please note that the complete deactivation of cookies may lead to a limitation in the use of some functions of our website.
Analysis Tools
Google Analytics
We use Google Analytics, a web analysis service from Google LLC, 1600 Amphitheatre Parkway Mountain View, CA 94043, USA, or, if you are ordinarily resident in the European Union (EU), European Economic Area (EEA), or Switzerland, Google Ireland Limited, Gordon House, Barrow Street, Dublin 4, Ireland (“Google”).
Google uses cookies. The information generated by the cookie about your use of our website (including your IP address) may be transmitted to a Google server in the USA and stored there.
Google uses this information to evaluate your use of our website, compile reports on website activity, and provide other services related to website and internet use. Pseudonymous user profiles may be created from the processed data.
The IP address transmitted by your browser as part of Google Analytics is not merged with other Google data.
We use Google Analytics only with IP anonymization enabled. This means that your IP address is shortened by Google within Switzerland or the EU/EEA before being sent to the USA. Only in exceptional cases is the full IP address sent to a Google server in the USA and then shortened.
You can prevent the storage of cookies by adjusting your browser settings. Additionally, you can prevent Google from collecting and processing data by downloading and installing the browser add-on for Google Analytics opt-out. This sets an opt-out cookie that prevents future data collection during your visit to our website. Please note that you may not be able to use all features of our website fully in this case.
Your personal data will be deleted or anonymized after 14 months.
For more information, please refer to Google Analytics terms of use and Google’s privacy policy.
